Who Is She?

She Is Strong.

She Is Healthy.

She Is Empowered.

She Is You!

She isn’t just a name or a title. It’s a statement that says “I believe in me!” As women, we’re often led to believe that we must stay small and give up our power to please other people. Even as young girls we’re told by the authoritative’s around us that we must “keep quiet,” “sit still,” and “do as we’re told” because that’s what “good little girls do.” We listen, and take these words to heart as beliefs of our own, because we don’t know any better.

As we enter the world of adulthood we continue to carry these false beliefs of what we’re supposed to do and how we’re expected to behave, so that we can continue to be that “good little girl” we’ve always been told we should be.

These beliefs have built strong societal and generational cycles that have kept women feeling locked down, without a voice, and completely powerless. It’s no wonder why millions of women are now saying they feel “disconnected from their body,” “unable to explain the emotions they’re feeling,” and “numb to the world around them.” We’re all feeling the consequences of what happens when women are stripped of their powerful feminine energy.

She represents everything we’ve been told our whole lives that we can’t, shouldn’t, or won’t be. She is the divine feminine energy that lives inside each one of us! It’s the voice that whispers “what if,” “why not,” or “do it anyways.”

She is what gave Amelia Earhart the courage to become the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She is what empowered iconic 1950’s model Marilyn Monroe to defy the societal norms of body image and embrace a healthier, curvier look! She is why Emmy award winning actress Lucille Ball, refused to be labeled as “lucky” and instead said… “Luck? I don’t know anything about luck. I’ve never banked on it and I’m afraid of people who do. Luck to me is something else: Hard work- and realizing what is opportunity and what isn’t.”

She is the stuff inside us all that you feel like you’re missing. It’s the power, energy, and enlightenment that shines deep inside. She is the voice in the back of your head begging you to put yourself first. It’s the late night thoughts about what your life could be, what you could have, and who you could become.

She is your strength.

She is your health.

She is your empowerment.

She is and always has been there for you!

The question is… will you let She out to shine once again in this world?
